A passion for learning is at the heart of Berkeley Carroll. Our school is a creative and intellectual community where devoted teachers challenge and engage talented students. WLS Programs in TanzaniaWorld Leadership School provides Tanzania student travel opportunities with host communities and schools in the Rift Valley of Tanzania. A typical School-to-School Partnership program allows students volunteering abroad in Tanzania to work on a community project at a local school and gather a rich and unique glimpse into daily life in Tanzania. World Leadership Foundation launched a TeachUNITED program in Karatu, Tanzania in 2014. Students on a TeachUNITED Partnership program shadow local students and local TeachUNITED Teacher Trainers participating in this unique program that is designed to deepen learning and bridge the digital divide. On a typical NGO Partnership program, students will learn from and work with local leaders that are doing inspiring work in education, medicine, women’s empowerment, and much more.
